Wizards take a stab at grabbing Paul George from the Clippers for Davis Bertans, Thomas Bryant, Deni Avdija, & Chandler Hutchison. Clippers get back a real starting center in Bryant, a specialist in Bertans, and a very young guy with all star potential in Avdija. This is a fucking steal for the Clippers if they shop PG fearing Kawhi leaving (or not?). This is probably the best all-around package they could get anywhere. Other teams might offer another proven star player off the bat with a few picks attached but not this high caliber of a group altogether.

The rest all depends on what position the Wizards draft. This example is if they draft a backup Guard/Forward hybrid.

The Wiz should resign Ish to run the backup PG spot (or try and get rondo or dinwiddy if they’re not expensive). And use the remainder if their $ to sign 2 centers behind Gafford (Olynk and Lopez for different looks) and get back Otto Porter to round up the backup 3 spot.

If the Wiz opt to draft a PF/Center (probably more ideal) they use their $ to get backup guards like Dinwiddy etc.
