Of all the teams that can offer a trade package for Mitchell, Pacers seem to have to best one. A 3&D wing, One of best upcoming guards in the league and two potentially valuable first round picks. Of course they should only do this if Mitchell would sign an extension with them. They have the best facilitator in the league (Hali), one of the best transition players and proven secondary star in the playoffs (Siakam) and a probably one of the most useful stretch bigs in the league (Turner). Mitchell is the perfect player they need. A pure scorer who can create offense in the half court. They keep Mathurin which is just a big boost for them tbh. As his development would can be the next step this team would need to make it out the east….

Grizzlies are giving the better defender so are getting the better pick in the draft. Rockets have too many wings in Jabari, Whitmore and Eason so are getting a player to help Jalen Green in the backcourt. Grizzlies already have a filled out backcourt but lack good wing players….

This is basically an upgrade on Zeke. Yes, Olynyk is slightly older than Denver would want but he's one of the best stretch bigs and can offer some rim protection, connective passing that Denver would need in their bench lineups and they're only giving up Zeke, a late 1st rounder and two 2nd round pick equivalent guys. Raptors would not get a first from any team for Olynyk and can happily trade him to tank next seasonal s their obligation to the Spurs is gone by giving away the 8th pick this year….

It is clear that Mitchell is that guy based on this year's playoffs. The priority would be to give him help and sign good offensive players and good defenders. They are doing both by giving away their young stars who have limitations on either ends for great two way wings. A lineup of Mitchell, Markannen, Mikal, Allen and Levert/Strus/Shröder would be elite offensively and defensively. Both the Jazz and the Nets are rebuilding and would get a young stud to replace their in prime star who would not fit their timeline….

The heat rotation after this trade would be wild. Butler, Adebayo, Ingram, Dejounte, Nance, Jaime, Caleb Martin. Great defense and playmaking 1-8. Yes, the outside shooting is a bit sus but all these players while not above 40% three point shooters, they are mid 30s and defenses have to respect that and can't provide too much help due to the playmaking of everyone in the team….

Kings instantly become one of the best teams in the West with a starting five of Fox, Sabonis, Ingram, Murray and Hawkins. Yes, they trade away their future but you're just gonna be wasting Fox and Sabonis's prime by just staying the same. This Kings team would be like Denver Nuggets lite and with all the stars below 28, they could compete atleast until 2028. Then the only pick they have to worry about would be the one in 2030. Pels trade Ingram only if he wants out and won't resign with them and this is obviously the main assumption behind this trade….

Knicks become a powerhouse with an 8 man rotation of Brunson, OG, Mikal, Robinson, Randle, Hart, Divicenzo and Hartenstein. Nets get McBride, and a bunch of picks….

Knicks get their third star that fits their timeline. Jazz get a like for like replacement for Lauri and Grimes and 4 FRPs. Hawks get Randle who fits well in their team next to Trae. Nets get Dejounte to add to their mojo of 27 year olds that can play defense. Their starting five would now be DJ, Mikal, Cam, Claxton and DFS….

Thunder upgrade in their weakest link in their starting 5. Teams can't sag off of their point guard anymore. They also get a True Center, a player they dont have in their lineup that they can use for playoff versatility. It seems like they are giving up a lot of picks but they don't have the use of those many picks anymore. Hawks get a good young player and bunch of picks. This is prolly the best return they could get….

Olynyk is a great stretch 5 that can releave some pressure off of Embiid by providing spacing and also good defense letting Embiid roam and disrupt any attempts inside the three point line. It might look like a lofty package for someone on an expiring contract but Embiid is having a career year and this trade gets 76ers one of the pieces to go all the way….

Trae is an exceptional fit with the Nets. He can feed Claxton on his rim runs and Cam Johnson for his highly efficient catch and shoot threes. Mikal would probably be the best second option Trae has ever had and the Nets are the perfect team to hide Trae's weaknesses on defense. Cam Thomas is arguably the best asset in the league that the Hawks could get for Trae Young and they get a bunch of first round picks to add to the return. It's a win-win trade for both the teams….

Although it might look like a lot from the Spurs's perspective. This trade essentially means Spurs get Trae Young for Dejounte Murray, Keldon Johnson and Malaki Branham. Because those three firsts they got from Dejounte trade are what they can use as leverage if Trae wants out and Hawks are going to do rebuild. Trae fits the team well with Vassell in the backcourt who can help hide Trae's shortcomings on defense and blocking machines in Sochan and Wemby. It wouldn't matter if Trae was beaten of the dribble cuz these would be able to deter most shots at the rim….

Laker strade for Cam Johnson and Dejounte Murray to improve their shooting and defense. Haws get a good young player and valuable first round pick. Nets get two good players in their prime and a second. Lakers clearly upgrade their defense with both these players and get good shooting around LeBron and AD…
