Trade Breakdown:
Nets are able to get two stars in AD and Siakam back in addition to the Laker's 2027 and 2029 1st rounders, and a 2028 pick swap, while packaging the unwanted contracts of Ben Simmons and Joe Harris with KD. They remain competitive with players who won't give the Nets front office headaches, finally getting some stability after multiple years of off-court drama.
Lakers bring in KD to help LeBron during his twilight years. KD is able to play with a superstar who he doesn't have to worry about leaving him. To get some size, they trade expiring contracts and a second rounder for Bamba.
Magic get a young guard in Lonnie Walker IV who they can try out for the rest of the year and decide if he fits the team for next year. They also get a second rounder for the trade. They also get Damon Jones as a back up center to replace Bamba, who was not getting regular minutes anyway. They probably buy out JTA.
Raptors have had ongoing conversations with the Nets regarding Siakam in the past couple days leading to the trade deadline. They are able to get 2 future Net's 1sts, along with a couple Net's 2nd rounders. Raptors are desperate for shooting and playmaking, which they get from Seth Curry and Russ. But the picks are what they really want here. If they don't want to deal with Russ, they can negotiate a contract buyout, in which Russ can go to Miami or a similar team.
Note: not sure how many picks the Nets will be willing to trade for Siakam. Overall, the picks are fluid in theory, but the contracts/players are outlined here.
