Trade Breakdown:
Nets are able to get two stars in AD and Siakam back in addition to the Laker's 2027 and 2029 1st rounders, and a 2028 pick swap, while packaging the unwanted contracts of Ben Simmons and Joe Harris with KD. They remain competitive with players who won't give the Nets front office headaches, finally getting some stability after multiple years of off-court drama.
Lakers bring in KD to help LeBron during his twilight years. KD is able to play with a superstar who he doesn't have to worry about leaving him. To get some size, they trade expiring contracts and a second rounder for Bamba.
Magic get a young guard in Lonnie Walker IV who they can try out for the rest of the year and decide if he fits the team for next year. They also get a second rounder for the trade. They also get Damon Jones as a back up center to replace Bamba, who was not getting regular minutes anyway. They probably buy out JTA.
Raptors have had ongoing conversations with the Nets regarding Siakam in…

Turner's renegotiated contract gives him an extra $17.1 mil this year, making his outgoing salary + Hield's salary $55.7 mil. Combine Russ, Lonnie, and Jones' contracts to get to $55.8 mil. Even after the new contract, Turner is still eligible to be traded by the 2023 trade deadline. Lakers are able to improve their defense and perimeter shooting with one trade.
Indiana adds two first rounders for Turner, who publicly tampered on ESPN for the Lakers to trade the picks for him. Hield has been on the trade block and hasn't gotten any substantial offers for a while. Pacers are able to try out Lonnie to see if he fits next to their young core. Russ goes off the books after this season….

This idea is based on reports that the Hawks are 1) discussing trading for Deandre Ayton, and 2) willing to trade John Collins. KD goes to his reported preferred Western Conference destination in Phoenix and Kyrie goes to LA. Brooklyn gets to remain competitive while getting younger at the same time. Probably not gonna happen, but thought it made sense based on reports….

Note: T. Brown = Zach Lavine in this trade since I cannot use Zach Lavine in a sign and trade for some reason.
This can only happen IF Lavine (Klutch representation) wants a s/t to Lakers. Lakers remain under the $155.7 million hard cap spending limit & resign Malik Monk to $6,392,000 tax-payer MLE.
Bulls replace Lavine with Hield and Grant.
Pacers shed massive future salaries (reported by Eric Pincus as a priority this offseason) by taking on 1-year deals in Westbrook and Kemba, as well as draft compensation.
Pistons get a veteran point guard to mentor Cade.
Knicks get some good players back….

Note: this trade assumes Bradley Beal has asked out of WAS. Also assumes Trez opts in to his player option and agreed to get traded home to Charlotte.
Wizards save ~$20 mil in salary and rebuild with draft picks this year.
Lakers get their scoring playmaker to help LBJ and AD.
Hornets move down the draft while acquiring Montrez Harrell , who helps their poor center rotation.
Bulls get the point guard they’ve been long after to help LaVine, while only giving up a second rounder and salary filler in Aminu….
