This is probably way too little for McBride, I more want to find out how wolves fans would feel about McBride as a future Conley replacement. Also what do you think his value is? Do we have enough to get him?…

Gonna start off by saying I don’t think the jazz would do this but it’s also it’s not often you can get back the first overall pick despite being in a weaker class.
Hawks gain a proper second star next to Trae and could further look at trading Dejounte for someone who fits better next to Trae.
HAWKS LINEUP: Trae, Murray, Johnson, Onyeka, Towns
Wolves bolster their offense
WOLVES LINEUP: Conley, Ant, Jaden, Lauri, Gobert
Jazz commit to the tank
JAZZ LINEUP: depends who they draft, only guarantees are Keyontae George and Walker Kessler starting…

I’m just throwing this out here. Don’t know how realistic this is. Pros and Cons for all teams.
The major cons I can see are:
Are the Cavs getting enough back? (Bear in mind Donovan’s questionable future with the Cavs/expiring contract and Jarrett Allen and Mobleys fit together). Wolves would probably run DMitch at PG and I’m not sure how that would play out It’s unclear what the warriors direction is. If they’re trading for Allen then they would be trying to compete but is that the right direction?
The pros:
A frontcourt with Mobley and KAT could be a nicer fit than KAT/Gobert with Mobley having a bit more range than Rudy while still providing DPOY level defense. no Donovan Mitchell means hopefully Cavs get all-star Darius Garland back. KAT and Wiggs obviously have experience playing together and if wiggs can play solid D while hitting his 3’s, it could be a scary, balanced starting 5 Wolves would now have 4 former Jazz teammates so the chemistry would already be there. The large…

Nets can commit to the tank with some pretty decent pieces to build around. Ideally they would want their firsts back from Houston but I reckon Jaden is basically a taller version of Mikal obviously more raw but fits their timeline a little better.
Wizards are basically the salary dump team with all their trade exceptions and I guess they’re getting at least something for Tyus jones expiring contract.
Wolves solidify their starting lineup and strengthen their bench without moving Naz, Mike or NAW….

LBJ has a player option but he’s also LeBron James. Figured a bunch of young guys plus some picks could be enough, depends if the lakers want to rebuild or retool.
(P.S. I’m just over Jaden McDaniels)…

I know the fanbase yearns for Tyus Jones but what about a cheaper option under contract for two years?…

This may seem lopsided at first but I think considering tyus is on an expiring deal and kispert being an “older” third year player, Washington could see Shake on a team friendly deal, Minott and Wendell Moore Jr with some decent potential on rookie contracts and Kyle Anderson with the potential of sending him to another team for extra second rounders, as a pretty good haul.
Lemme hear your thoughts…

Who do you think will be bought out after the February trade deadline? Where will they go? Any sleeper buyout candidates that could be huge for contenders?

Seems like a low risk/high reward situation.
Conleys getting old and we need to think of replacements soon. Hayes feels like someone who’s just stuck in a bad situation. His inefficient scoring might be due to the overall talent around him meaning he receives more defensive pressure. I’m not saying Cade, Thompson, Stewart and Duren are bad players (far from it really) but offensively? You could make the point that Hayes is one of the better offensive players in that starting line up, I mean, we’ve seen flashes of efficient, productive basketball from Hayes before, who’s to say we wouldn’t see more games like that with KAT, Ant and even Jaden receiving most of the defensive pressure? On top of that, his playmaking has been pretty consistently good since he entered the league and it may even blossom further with shooters like Ant, KAT and Jaden and a Lob threat in Gobert. Defense definitely needs work but he has the tools to be an above average defender, maybe the chance at a chip is th…

As much as I think Ivey will be a star in this league, it seems Monty Williams disagrees. I get he, analytically, was one of, if not, the worst player in the nba last year but I feel like he has all the necessary tools to be a superstar.
(Id like to note, im not a pistons fan but im curious to hear from actual pistons fans on how they feel about him)….
