Why Sixers Accept: Harper is very talented but a poor fit next to Maxey, Mccain, and Grimes. They should accept a haul for him if someone offers it. This gets them two solid rotation pieces, one in Maulauch who could replace Joel. Dumping PG and getting back a perfect fit in Johnson is also a major plus.

Why nets accept: Nets could potentially view Harper as a future superstar(with good reason for that). Steep price to pay but one that could very well be worth it. Also a great situation for PG to possibly rebuild his value and be flipped in the future. They also have plenty of cap room to eat PG if he truly is washed, and worth doing if harper hits his ceiling….

A few notes:

Sixers receive more favorable 2nd of SAC and LAL. least favorable 2nd goes to LAL. Sixers have rights to swap 26 LF first of HOU,LAC, and OKC with the lakers. Also Lakers 31 first is completely unprotected, so is bulls 31 SRP.

Sixers can now resign Yabusele in offseason with access to non tax MLE. they hope ball returns to form and becomes a perfect pairing to maxey in the backcourt and could be resigned as the long term backcourt mate. Also collect Future assets to go for it all in 26 and also maintain future flexibility.

Bulls Continue rebuild by sending 3 seconds and eating contracts for the 31 Lakers unprotected first. This sets them up to continue tanking for a top pick and getting a potentially very valuable asset.
