I dont like this trade, however this trade of an aging max contract veteran for another aging max contract player works out because the latter player only has 2 years left on his deal. Kevin Durant may fit in his likely one year with Embiid and Maxey, More with Maxey if Embiid is no longer able to play. The point don't expect this to be exciting. I rather trade PG for a ton of young players and first round picks, but I don't think that will be realistic…

First trade scenario for Embiid would be to the Miami Heat. A package of Lowry Robinson and two first round picks. Similar to Portland the Sixers would probably flip Lowry and Robinson to potentially get more. I could've added Bam, but I think if the Heat were to acquire Embiid they would trade Bam somewhere else

Also keep in mind if you think this deal for Embiid is too low. Teams are not willing to mortgage their future on stars anymore, especially those who are injury prone like Embiid….
