This is a trade I would love to see for the Bucks & this trade also makes sense for Washington. Here are the reasons each of these teams may complete a deal like this…

Wizards: According to Keith Smith, "Washington is motivated to clear out some of their logjam at point guard." With this trade, the Wizards get a solid 2-way wing that can be a solid veteran in the locker room while trading away one of their point guards. They also help out their rebuild by getting two second round picks (Blazers has a solid chance to be in the 30s next year)

Bucks: Jevon Carter may sign elsewhere on a bigger deal. The Bucks fill in the backup guard void. Wright can also play alongside Jrue Holiday to create an elite defensive backcourt. Connaughton has 3 more years on his contract, and it just doesn't seem to be worth it at this point as he is 30 years old and didn't shoot great this year. I tried my best to create a realistic offseason plan for the Bucks. The Bucks are not in a good financial situation, but it seems like they plan on keeping Middleton and Lopez. So, with the limitations I had, I tried to address the two biggest needs: youth & 3&D wings. Royce O'Neale would be a great fit on the Bucks as he is a gritty defender and can shoot the 3 well. Kuminga would be AMAZING on the Bucks. He can defend every teams best player as his defensive ability is really solid. If he could work on his 3 point shooting a bit more, he would be the perfect young 3&D player that is NEEDED besides Giannis. This is only my first offseason plan and I will create much more (primarily for the Bucks, but might also do some other teams). Let me know what you think!
