I rarely do trades with this many moving parts. Bulls enter into a rebuild upon choosing to trade Lavine & DeRozan. The centerpiece is obviously RJ while Isaac (25) and Grimes (23) are fairly good additions.

Mavs add one of the best defensive guards in the league and get a quality big.

Portland gets a rather underrated, young big in Hartenstein who’s been finding his way over the last 2-3 seasons. Imo he’ll also be a better fit for that Dame-Simons backcourt. They trade Nurkic for the scoring and depth of THJ.

Knicks go all in for Zach Lavine. Needless to say, they send majority of the assets in this case.

DeRozan seems farfetch because one would say he doesn’t fit the timeline but Orlando has an opportunity to be better than expected or sooner than expected. Franz-Paolo-WCJ are already a nice trio. If they hit on this year’s draft pick, it’s up from there. Isaac is just a casualty due to his injuries and possible lack of opportunity going forward. Who knows if DeRozan only wants to be somewhere where he can win but he’ll be a great vet for the guards there.
