Big Board based upon where players will be entering year 5. This is where rookie contracts expire, and primes of career typically begin to take shape for players who stick. After a surprising finish to the NBA finals and Giannis asserting himself as an NBA champion it's clear the league has undergone considerable evolution in the last decade plus. Teams may be looking for the next monster sized athlete who can relentlessly attack the rim for easy buckets. This class has no shortage of candidates, and considering where the NBA is, and where it's heading my top criterions for overall stock are- versatility (potential to play positionless basketball efficient & effective), 3pt shooting, and wing defense. Playmaking and shot creation are invaluable, although the latter is more rare and a necessity for every successful second unit.
This year's class is absolutely loaded. It boasts a variety of skillsets, there is tons of length, size, skill, and players on the board in the 90's may still yet carve out NBA careers. There are boatloads of potential all-stars and it would not shock if years from now we look back on several second round selections and undrafted players who made an all-star appearance. This class has a little bit of everything to offer depending on team need.
