RANK

Height 6'6 Weight 220 lbs Wingspan Estimated 6'9/10+ DOB May 27, 1997 (24 years old) Pre-Draft Team Coppin State (RS SR)

Offense

  • 59% FT in career, just over 30% 3pt. Not going to be a threat here unless he has a total overhaul.

  • 8.2 FTA per 40.

  • Good burst and first step.

  • Nice handle to get him where he needs to go, a lot of deception and shiftiness.

  • Some decent bounce and spring.

  • Heads up cutter.

  • Good footwork rolling and roving baseline.

  • Sound vision and passing in various scenarios.

  • Stiff shooting mechanics, all upper body, legs don't bend. Frankly a mess here.

  • Limited right hand.

Defense

  • Great defensive footwork, lateral agility.

  • Physical presence, mature.

  • Excellent rebounder for his size.

  • Ability to defend with versatility at the 1-3.

Swing Factors

  • Perimeter Shooting - Toolsy offensively probably isn't enough if he can't become a formidable floor spacer. He would be able to utilize his triple threat and attack more often as well. Luckily his mechanics should be started from scratch so maybe a shooting coach guru finds a spark of magic.

  • Defensive Reliability - If Tarke can put the clamps down on positions 1-3 there may be a place for him in the NBA.

Role

  • A gifted defensive and rebounding wing who has some bounce and craft cutting for buckets.

  • LOW: Tarke never sniffs an NBA floor. After some time in the summer league and/or G-League he goes overseas as a useful versatile defensive wing with some attacking skills.

*HIGH: Showing the defensive versatility and rebounding skills early Tarke gets some tick. He is an effective cutter, screen & roll option, plus he begins to floor space competently. He continues to attack the cup and get to the line. He becomes a working part of a rotation.
