Days is a tough, hard nosed athlete who makes winning plays. He can hit the midranger, but has the size to post up. He plays stifling defense. His versatility remains to be seen, but he can be a really good backup.

NBA Comparison: Bobby Portis

Projected Draft Range: 50-Undrafted

Works hard off the ball to get open. High shooting upside with potential to score from all three levels. Weakside defender, makes him active off the ball. Offensive rebounding a huge plus.

Doesn't possess the decision making skills at the moment to make good playmaking moves. Often gets caught with the ball and turns it over. Doesn't have a solid defending trait that makes him elite under the rim. Senior.

Days is another guy with the 3 and D poetential. He averaged 15ppg at LSU in 2021. Hes a decent shooter that can knock down the 3 ball ocasionally(streaky shooter) but could use devolpment. Play versus smaller defenders well espically inside. Good athlete and Rebounder. Gets in foul trouble also just like Timme not a great playmake turns the ball over.

Seems slower but he seems to love shooting threes if you want a three and done player.

Not great but I’ve seen worse dudes being likely to get drafted. Would draft at the end of second round over some stuff I’ve seen

Physicals: Turns 23 when season starts. 6'7" 239 lbs (lost some weight, positive sign) 7'1" wingspan Only 28" max vertical. Very average athlete.

Offense:

  • Very good shooter. 40% last season, 35% this season on 6 3PAs. Should be a great stretch four and off-ball spacer.

  • Very strong with decent face-up game. Potential to develop into a legitmate option in mid-post.

  • Over 2 offensive rebound per game, strong on glass.

  • Very limited in burst and athleticism, but strength and length should allow him to be a good finisher around the rim in 1/2 court.

  • Limited athleticism and brust, Not a great handle. Might be limited to catch and shoot opportunities. Lacks self creation.

  • Very limited playmaker. Often forces shots instead of finding teammates. Negative passer, more TOs than ASTs.

  • Career low FG% (43) and 2P% (52). Touch in midrange and around rim needs to be developed. Offensive Role: Stretch Four, energy rebounder with some post skills.

Defense:

  • Crashes glass; 8 RPG.

  • Strength and length could allow him to be a small ball 5 in the future.

  • Down from 3.2 FPG to 2.5 FPG in 3 more minutes this year. Making progress with decision making and discipline.

  • With his big frame and quickness to guard 4s, he could be very useful guarding Giannis types with more polish.

  • 1.5 SPG, good anticipation.

  • Quickness limited. May not be able to guard some 3s consistently, won't be able to move with guards.

  • Only 0.3 BPG, won't be a rim-protector, not a vertical leaper. Will limit potential as a 5.

Defensive role: Guarding 4s, won't be a primary defender most occasions. Not a switch-everything guy.

Player comparison: Markieff Morris?

Draft projection: Likely undrafted, could sneak into second round due to his shooting.
