Great college player with a ton of rim pressure. His lack of jumpshot will hinder him. He is a good passer who is great off the drive and kick. Active hands defensively. Solid defender.

An enigma. I am confused by him. Strong motherfucker, but not very quick and not bouncy. Did everything for Weber State against poor competition. Put up some insane numbers though, he really did dominate. Incredible playmaker, could honestly be a PG, which would help his ceiling a lot. I. don't think any NBA team will use him that way, though. Solid shooter with good indicators. Not a very good defender but not as bad as you might think. Long wingspan, short height, strong.

Shades of Kenny Lofton mixed with Kyle Anderson mixed with a drop of shooting. All in a 6'5"/6'11" body.

GSW position: SF

Highs: good passer, knows his spots, knows how to get to the rim, the game slows down for him with ease, have a jumper, steady defense (iggy type), steady passer at the 3pt line, rebound, assist in general, a leader

Lows: He use the same moves a lot need to learn to faster at times if needed (believe he can be able to), not the best shooter, excessive turnovers (with high minutes though), not the most athletic

STRENGTHS:

  • Showed to be a solid enough passer and playmaker; has a surprisingly good and shifty handle and (unsurprisingly) throws bullet passes with accuracy

  • Just because he can't rise above the rim does not mean he is a bad finisher; shot 60% when shooting at the rim last season

  • It is not the ideal shooting form, but looks to have good compact, fundamental form that can easily be molded into a solid enough and consistent enough jumper

  • He won't shoot any off the dribble jumpers, but showed to be effective as a spot-up shooter, averaging over a point per possession when he spots up

  • Offers some legit physicality on both sides of the ball; is just a bowling ball out there knocking people over on both ends

WEAKNESSES:

  • His driving ability is going to easily mitigated by the fact that NBA players are not going to be ran through by big players like him

  • Struggles on perimeter defense; he is a slow footed defender who can't guard quicker players. Due to his 6'4" frame, he has no choice but to guard guards, and he can't be laterally slow on that end at all

  • Athletic struggles translate over to his driving and finishing ability; not close to being an above the rim finisher

  • Does not have great looking form when he extends further out to the three point line; if he can't finish at the rim and can't shoot and is not athletic, what role can he realistically obtain

Best role upon entering the NBA: Long term development guard who will need finishing and shooting refinement in the G-League

Player Comparison: Shades of David Roddy and Kyle Anderson

Pros: Always looks for the pass. Thicc. Good rebounding for height. Uses weight on drives. Solid passing on perimeter. Fights the contact and draws it.

Cons: Depressed. A lil chunky and slow. Weak off ball D. On ball D is very sketch.

Range: Late 1st-mid 2nd Age: Not to old. Aura: 4/10

Notes: Could translate well if he lost some weight. Bad competition but did mid against good comp.
