Love his game. Great passer and ball handler crafty off the bounce. Not completely sure his position. Shades of Franz Wagner offensively, A lot of Giddey and Shaun Livingston. Big question marks outside of his passing and size. Higher upside than Jakucionus

Last Ranking: 4

Trend: DOWN

Projected NBA rookie role: Playmaking hub from the Point Forward

Projected NBA position: Point Forward

Projected Rookie Statline (Pts, Reb, Ast, Blk/Stl): 9, 3, 6, 1 (Stl)

Strengths: On Ball playmaking, Credit his time overseas and now with NBA level coach Kevin Young for Elite feel for the game, Great touch in the paint and around the rim, Elite playmaking vision and IQ

Weakness: Despite high steal averages, he has slower feet on defense and tends to get blown by somewhat often, slimmer frame exaggerates his lack of interior strength, Innefficaint 3 Point shooting as season progressed.

Shades of/comp: Tyrese Haliburton, Josh Giddey

Best outcome: If his shotmaking translates and his length produces solid defensive production, he projects to being one of the top guards in the league and potentially the best player out of this class, which truly does say a lot.

mid outcome: Theres a realistic scenario where we see Demin struggle defensively at the next level, in this case though we still see the fruits of his offensive output.

worst outcome: Like Harper, I see Demin as one of the safer high-end prospects in this class. But if his shot isnt consistent at the next level, that could raise some problems.

High End: Jalen Rose Low End: Dalen Terry Median outcome: Kyle Anderson Pros: Playmaking, size (even as a wing), willing shooter (good form) Cons: Bad at driving (loose handle), finishing (not physical enough) Verdict: Shot will develop, but physicality seems to be a very big issue as Demin cannot get to the rim and finish at a reliable rate against stronger opponents. The playmaking is a huge plus and could probably operate as a primary, but a lot of the scoring is still WIP and the three point shot looks workable. A more likely role would be a Kyle Anderson/Boris Diaw style connective wing as opposed to a high usage role like Giddey.

Egor is a great player and has shown some real bright moments so far this college season, I really like his game and hope he continues to improve on it. Averaging 13 6 and 5 as a PG seems very similar to Kaspras who is a great talent in this draft. He's been efficient also averaging 49% from the field showing he's capable of doing anything if he gets the appropriate game time to help improve over the course of his career. Hope he becomes a great guard to fulfil everyone's dream of being an all-star

Pros:

Amazing passer and playmaker

Elite hand-eye coordination

Has potential as a 3-point shooter

Wowed me with his shooting and never-before-seen aggressiveness going downhill against Alabama

When he has a lane to the rack he hits it

Fairly athletic and will dunk it at rim

Good rebounder for someone of his build

Great shot creator who makes plays that are normally two passes ahead

Cons:

Only about 185 lbs, needs to bulk up

Not the tightest handle, esp. when pressured

Three-pointer is not great yet but showed flashes in NCAA's

Don't bet on him being a plus defender

Plays too upright

Sometimes hesitant going to rim, not aggressive enough

Not very athletic, just relies on size to get deflections and get up to rim

Comps: Josh Giddey, Kyle Anderson

  • Will regularly put up near triple doubles

  • Very similar to Kasparas, just plays less traditionally and is less efficient

  • However, has proven to step up and play smarter and better in the tournament helping BYU make the sweet 16

  • Medium risk, high reward kind of prospect

  • Comp: Josh Giddey / LaMelo Ball / Shaun Livingston

  • Ceiling: ALL-NBA

  • Floor: Out of League

  • Expectation: Borderline ALL-STAR

  • What to Expect: Will consistently give his team good stats, his status around the league will just depend on his team's success

Weird prospect to predict. Vibes of a star (great passing and IQ) but could also end up as a connective piece. The shoot is coming and it's te swing factor for him. Still questions wether he's a guard or wing.

NBA comp : Kyle Anderson/Josh Giddey
