STRENGTHS:
Passing ability is excellent; was tasked to provide a little bit of everything for Princeton, and he knows how to take bigs off the bounce, get them out of position, and run an offense real well
Evbuomwan has great touch around the basket; he really likes to operate in isolation, clear outs, with a lot of space; I found his strong suit to as an offensive scorer, whether that is on the break or in the half-court; his rebounding was very good as well, really crashes the boards
His defense is unique; he is a versatile defender who can defend a lot of players 1-4 due to his size and length; was very balanced in his overall stocks per game and his defense as a guy who glides through off-ball screens is nice; nothing truly elite on this end but everything is just fine
WEAKNESSES:
While I say his defense is fine, there is lots of room to improve; his lateral quickness is not the greatest to where I think he could defend quick guys, but his lack of strength does not make him ideal to guard bigs either
His shooting has never been there; he shot 32% from three on 30 total attempts this year, which is an improvement from the year before at 12%, but does the low volume this year really make much of an improvement from what we had previously seen?
While he prefers to attack, I do not think his burst was great; his first step was easy to counter, and when his first move gets blocked, he does not have a good counter and tends to force something that is not that great
OUTLOOK: Tosan Evbuomwan is another one of these unique builds and skillset that make it really hard to project his success. I love what I see from him as a passer, being in the point forward role during his time at Princeton. He is a skilled rebounder who can push the pace and was always a good scorer around the basket with good touch. His lack of strength and athleticism has hurt him on the defensive end, where he does not have much of an identity, and a projection of his shooting ability in the league is not good based off of his poor shooting in college. He has unique skills that need to be warped together to give himself an identity. Once he develops an identity, he will be more attractive as a player.
