These are three teams who have underperformed this year and should be looking to change things up in the offseason. For the Wizards your main goal should be keeping Beal happy and getting a rim protector does that. Nurkic is no Rudy Gobert but he is a legit center who can defend other bigs and operate in the post. Bringing back Oubre is also a good idea as it gives Westbrook a lob threat as well as a solid defender at the 3. For the Pacers, although they lose their all star, they get a fringe all star in McCollum and a young talent in Simons. This allows them to have 3 players who have no problem playing off the ball in McCollum, Brogdon, and Levert as well as improving defense by bringing in Milsap. For Portland, this gives Dame a legit all star teammate as Sabonis would now play center as his dad used to in a Blazers uniform. Bringing in Warren from the Pacers also allows for their defense to improve with a big body and good defender at the 3 to pair with RoCo. They move on from Nurkic to give minutes to Sabonis and get back Avdija, a young player who is NBA ready as well as a first. They get bench depth by bringing in Noel to bring in Defense at the backup 5, as well as resigning Powell and bringing in Teague and Mike James who has shown his worth on the Nets as a solid backup PG.
