POR wants to be competitive now and not hope that someone develops in 2-4 years. Beal in PHX has been horrible, but prior to that he was an All-Star. Moving off of Grant feels like a net positive. Giving up RWIII and 4 2nd Rd picks is the part that hurts. However, the silver lining is getting options with a pick swap of PHX and some other teams in 2027. **POR then has pick 11 & 16. They can add either BPA, OR Kasparas at 11 & a player like Fleming at 16. OR add someone like Noa at 11 and Demin at 16.

PHX- Tried to make a big 3 but they need more depth. RWIII is a PERFECT addition to this team! Grant is a role player and could allow Booker & KD to continue to be the stars but still add 15-20pts per game. They add a bunch of 2nd rd picks to help add cheap NBA players for the next 3 years.
