If you haven't seen part 1 heres the link:[https://fanspo.com/nba/s/blazers/trades/zayh4lckA1apEj/blazers-off-season-part-1-spend-for-ben] I recommend checking it out as I break down what I want to do and how the trade builds towards that goal as well as what direction the other team can go in.

In the last part we traded for Ben Simmons to run the 3 or 4, now we need to get a stretch 5. One of the best on the market right now is Myles Turner. Turner is superior to Nurkic on defense as he is one of the best rim protectors in the league and he can also shoot the ball pretty well. This frees up space for Dame to drive as well as Simmons to operate in the paint or on the block. The Pacers need to choose a direction as it has become clear that Sabonis and Turner on the same team doesn't quite work. This would move Sabonis to the 5. Domantis isn't a bad post defender(obviously not on Turner's level) but at the 4 he was a liability for dynamic forwards. To fix that they get Covington, Little, and a first from 2028 top 8 protected. Both are do it all defenders who can space the floor. Little also has a lot of room to grow so relegating him to a bench role would benefit both him and the Pacers because the man was not getting PT in Portland despite his skill set. This would allow for Sabonis to operate down low and for guys like Brogdon, Levert, and Lamb to operate on the perimeter. This trade gives the Pacers options on offense and with Rick Carlisle as the head coach the Pacers could be one of the top offensive teams next year.
