Portland decides to try and win and brings in LaVine, Ingram, and Patrick Williams while giving up Brogdon, Ayton, and some draft assets. They roll with a starting five of Simons, LaVine, Ingram, Pat Williams, and Rob Williams. This is a good mix of defense and stellar offense. They also have Scoot and Sharpe coming off the bench.
Chicago saves some face with the LaVine deal by nabbing Jerami Grant and Deandre Ayton while also giving up Vucevic. They resign Demar. They also get to change portlands protected first that they own into an unprotected pick.
Houston gets an Udoku favorite in Brogdon which shores up their back up point guard situation and brings maturity to the team. They only need to give up Tate, Lockdale, and a couple of second rounders for the hassle.
Pelicans have been shopping Ingram and in return they get Vucevic, Thybulle, Lockdale, and a protected first and a second rounder. This may be a little low value for them but they need to focus on resigning Trey Murphy and Vucevic solves their center problem
