The Celtics had an unbelievable run this past season, finishing 51-31, 2nd in the East, and making it to the NBA Finals, although losing in the 6 games to the Golden State Warriors. Although this isn't the result most Celtics fans wanted (including me), we had an incredible run starting the season 18-21 on January 6th and then finishing 33-10 and making the Finals is nothing short of historic. However, there are improvements for this roster to be made if we want to get over the hump and win a title. Here is what we need to do in order to go back to the Finals next year and win it:

-Trade Derrick White, Daniel Theis, Aaron Nesmith, and a 2023 1st round pick to the Pacers for Malcolm Brogdon (Pacers trade White for Nance, Lewis and a 2024 MIL 1st as part of a three-team trade -Celtics decline Juwan Morgan's team option to get under the luxury tax -Celtics sign Malik Monk on the MLE (3 yr/$31 mil) -Celtics sign Otto Porter Jr. on the vet min

New lineup: PG Malcolm Brogdon SG Marcus Smart SF Jaylen Brown PF Jayson Tatum C Robert Williams

New bench: PG Payton Pritchard SG Malik Monk SF Otto Porter Jr. PF Grant Williams C Al Horford

Projection: 54-28, 1st in East, Conf Finals loss
