Why The Pacers Do this: The Pacers have the #1 Offense in the league. (to my knowledge at least, I might be wrong about this) The problem is that their defense sucks, so why not acquire two very solid two way players, one of them being debatably better than Buddy?

Why The Nets Do This:

The Nets are in a tough spot, they are too good to tank, but the East as a whole are too Good for them to contend. This probably only happens either if Mikal asks out or if they are in the 8-11 seed range at the deadline, which the probability of that is pretty low. However, this is a solid haul for Mikal and DFS imo, and you could maybe flip Buddy to another team for more capital.
