Now i might be undervaluing some players on the blazers, however the 2031 unprotected first speaks for its self aswell you are getting young prospects on longer deals, blazers wont be able to keep jabari and toumani by the time they are competitive again. Bulls send out vet and 2nds for young prospects they hope can turn into something. Bucks improve the bench unit and the defense without compromising the core. Maybe the blazers ask for the 2031 2nd or want more value. This is just a test to see the value of some of these lower end contract players and how the bucks could get them.

In hindsight i do think getting both jabari and toumani is ambitious and would require some convincing (bucks front office is incompetent and couldn't do that) but i think the 2031 bucks first is one of the most valuable 1sts outside of maybe the lakers. The blazers should look to sell these players as they don't match the timeline and they have a abundance of young talent that already is on the roster or they will obtain through the draft.
