First and for most the knicks will likely lose hardenstein this off-season as they can only pay him like 16.7 mil or something.

So Dallas dump hardaways contract to the spurs for a second as they have cap space and will likely happily take him as he only has 1 year left.

With this space Dallas sign hardenstein. Imo we need to upgrade our centre spot if we want to win a chip. Gafford has been just ok but hardenstein would become our best centre and give up more looks for when the lob is not working.

The mavs also need more size imo as all the best teams are running very big lineups, imo Dani Avadia would be a good choice, he can defend,rebound and shoot the ball well. All our current starters will all still play alot of minutes. But we need trade more trade assets.

So with the knicks now needing a backup centre I'd give them gafford for a first round pick in return we would give them 1 second round pick and take take Alec burks off their hands to make the deal work, he will be a free agent anyway if they want to try resign him, I wouldn't mind him for the mavs on a cheapish deal to replace hadaway

If the knicks don't want him we can move gafford to a number of team in need of a centre for a similar deal.
