It's hard to keep players in Toronto or attract free agents: taxes, US bias, sponsorship opportunities.... Siakam is saying he wants to stay but no deal has come together. Rumors were that Trent was getting an extension but nothing yet.

In this scenario, Toronto trades its best players outside of Barnes, all of whom can be FA's next year. My rule was that everyone they trade for needs to a young player with 3+ years of control. I didn't want to do another Siakam to Atlanta mock trade, although there's a good one there.

For Toronto they build around Scottie as either a PG or a SF. KAT and Herro get them offense. KPJ really improved this year and Eason is a perfect Raptor.

Heat get 2-way value in Trent, plus a pick for the Dame deal or another trade.

Houston is trying to accelerate their rebuild and gets a good 2-way wing in OG to fit with FVV and Green.

Minnesota gets a great complement to Ant and Gobert. I'm betting Siakam signs.
