Bulls blow it up. Warriors desperation. Sixers create a true finals contender.

Bulls trade Lavine and DeRozen, receive expiring contracts (Paul, Morris) and get rid of Lonzo to clear cap space for free agency. Also receive Reed, Moody as young prospects and Wiggins as a reclamation project. Get a future first rounder as well. They also get 9.1 in savings this year, which is always a plus for their cheap ownership. They will lose more, but that should be their goal for a higher draft pick, since their current roster is going nowhere.

Warriors get Lavine to try to make something happen to extend their championship window. He is a secondary ball handler and another scorer who can take some of the load off of Curry and run the team while Curry is on the bench. Plus they keep all their draft picks. They take on one more year of a negative asset in Lonzo in exchange for three more years of a negative asset Wiggins, clearing up playing time for the ascending Kuminga. They are basically only trading one valuable asset in Moody, who they would need to extend at a number like 12 million that would increase their already enormous tax going forward. Financially it is a wash for the Warriors. The only thing is that they are taking a risk on Lavine’s health, but they’re desperate to keep their window open and they need to make some change.

Sixers get another scorer in DeRozen, but he’s also an expiring contract, so they maintain their cap flexibility for free agency. They can re-sign him or let him go. They get some experienced vets as well, and only really give up Reed and a first round pick to make it happen. This elevates them to a true championship contender.
