The Celtics get off Kemba's albatross. They get the player they wanted last year in Turner and no longer have to pray for Timelord's hips to be intact, so he can stay on the bench where he belongs at 15-20 mpg. Lamb and Jackson provide above average bench depth which is sorely needed on this team along with the ability to guard multiple positions.

The Pacers finally pair Sabonis with a player that has a positive assist to turnover ratio, while not completely sacrificing their spacing. Even though they're a small market team, I would still waive McGruder and CoJo, saving $13 mil to either reallocate to free agents (Olynyk or Patty Mills?) or save for Warren's next contract.

The Suns get a gritty rebounder who still gets lots of blocks and steals in his 30s, easing the burden of Ayton and Crowder. How he played 4 years at Duke and never learned to shoot FTs is a mystery, but he's a worthy rotational player and a sneaky good passer.

The Pistons clear some of the roadblocks for their young players. Kemba can play on or off the ball with Hayes and mentor him, Bey gets pushed into 30+ minute territory, and Stewart's roadblock gets cleared. They'll still likely be a bottom five team for next year, especially with all the time Kemba will miss with his knees. Finally the get some draft equity, with a lottery protected first from Boston and a potentially great pick swap if Brogdan and LeVert fly the coup.
