What Changes: Luka Doncic stays with Dallas or they get a better offer elsewhere like the Luka to New Orleans one I made and that means they can't trade AD for Luka. If they wanted or had to trade AD for whatever reason this is a trade I'd do.

Why Lakers do it: The Lakers get two nice players in Michael Porter Jr and Aaron Gordon. But that's not the they would do it, they get four valuable picks in my opinion. They also get rid of the Gabe Vincent contract creating some flexibility. They could also swap Gordon and/or Porter Jr. for a nice player or even an all-star level talent. They also get rid of an expiring contract in Prince. AD is getting up there in age and is very injury prone as of late. The Lakers also need to start prepping for the future as LeBron is going to retire sooner or later.

Why Nuggets do it: Michael Porter Jr. is holding them back from another title run. He is a selfish player and his assist numbers show it. Aaron Gordon will be hard to let go but yeah AD is way better. Anthony Davis wants to a power forward and him and Jokic in the front court would be deadly. they still have Jamal Murray, Christian Braun and Julian Strawther.
