Boston Celtics

Why:

JB is unhappy and they would need to trade him to another team, and to do so they would need a contending package in return. This is a pretty good package for them and they get some picks for a trade. OG and Fred are good pieces that could still help them win a chip, and Thad Young is a good replacement for a guy like Grant Williams. Losing White is pretty bad but the Raptors would need a PG guy if they trade away Fred, so yeah, and I'd say they get a big deal in return so I think it's fine. The Celtics might want more than this so I'm not sure if this is the best deal but it might be fine idk.

Toronto Raptors

Why:

The Raptors are in a weird situation right now. Many don't know whether they should rebuild or retool/buy. This deal is a way for them to retool in a way. JB I think could be a cool fit on Toronto which is why I made this deal. He would, however, be a 1 year rental player who they could maybe resign depending on how successful they are. They also get a PG replacement for Fred in Derrick White, whos a very good role player, so that's good too. Again, idk if this is a good deal for Boston but I do think the fit could work.
