Why NOP does it: They need to trade BI away soon and they need a true center badly. Capela fits that role until the Pels can get a better option in free agency or via trade. Plus they get Nesmith and a first, so Pelicans definitely accept this.

Why ATL does it: Capela is on an expiring contract and they have Onyeka Okungwu. BI is an upgrade at small forward over Hunter so although they’re giving up Capela, Hunter, and a frp, I still think there is a decent chance they would accept.

Why IND does it: Hunter is a slight upgrade over Nesmith and they’re giving away basically nothing else and also receiving 2 second round picks.
