Grizzlies - They get a star 4 (yes star he’s averaging 20 4 and 3) in return for Williams, Culver, Jones (salary filler) and 2 probably late firsts. Grant just seems like the perfect guy for this Grizzlies team. He can do it all, play the 3 and the 4 very well and has great switchability on defense. He’s still 27 and while that isn’t the youngest the Grizzlies could do with another veteran presence on the team. Lineup after this trade: PG - Morant(Melton) SG - Bane(Brooks) SF - Grant(Clarke/Brooks) PF - JJJ(Anderson) C - Adams(Tillman).

Pistons - They get Ziaire Williams the 10th pick in this years draft, Jarret Culver who still has the potential to turn his career around. He probably won’t reach what he was expected to be but I can see him as a solid backup. They also get 2 future picks. Though the Lakers one this year will be pretty low the Warriors one has potential, the Warriors could be a very old team by then and not have the legs to play well for a whole season. Overall I think this is fair value for Grant.
