Suns
With Jae Crowder asking to be traded and DeAndre Ayton saying he hasn’t spoken to his head coach Monty Williams in four months it’s clear the Suns need to make some moves if they have any hope of not falling apart before the postseason even starts. Here they acquire a versatile 2nd option behind Devin Booker in Siakam. He improves the team all round with his 3-level scoring, great defense and playmaking. They also add Myles Turner to start at center in place of Ayton, he doesn’t need to be an offensive force for them but if he can knock down his 3s and block shots than they have a great starting 5 of: CP3-Booker-Bridges-Siakam-Turner. For me this puts them at the level of teams like the Clippers and gives them a legitimate chance at title contention next year.

Raptors
While this would be a shocking move trading their 27 year old All-NBA star I think it’s worth it for them for multiple reasons. In return they get DeAndre Ayton who can form an elite young front court duo with Scottie Barnes. They also get a solid backup wing in Torrey Craig. The other selling point here is the 2 1st round picks and one pick swap which a Raptors front office who are notoriously good at drafting can keep hold of or use in a future trade to maybe acquire a disgruntled superstar. This trade also allows them to increase Scottie Barnes role further and maybe give him more reps as the ball handler in an offense.

Heat
The Heat are clearly in need of a good 4 and many were surprised they didn’t acquire Bogdanovic when he was clearly available. Here they get an experienced 3&D forward in Crowder who has playoff experience and they also offload Duncan Robinson’s terrible contract at just the cost of a protected future 1st. While they may want to use Robinson’s contract a player who adds more offensive firepower to the team I think this is still a solid move for them.

Pacers
The Pacers are clearly a team that is tanking for the best chance at Victor Wembanya and here they trade on of their older players in Myles Turner for a future 1st while taking on Duncan Robinson’s contract. A pretty simple move for them if there aren’t any other better offers for Turner.
This is my first big post in a while so thanks for reading!
