This scenario is based on if Brandon Ingram requests a trade out of NOLA.

NOLA - receives Zach Lavine and a future first to add to their asset pool. Lavine would be able to replace the scoring woes that Ingram would leave, and allow pelicans to put a somewhat competent team on the floor. Lavine and Zion would be an interesting pairing, as Lavine could really up his pick and roll game with Zion, and be the 2nd fiddle to Zion. Having a future first would allow them to gain an another asset to make another trade for a 3rd star in NOLA to compliement Zion and Lavine. With this trade you’d be looking at a lineup of McCollum, Lavine, Jones, Zion and Big Val. Which you change up a lot by putting Lavine at the point guard and putting in players like Murphy and Hawkins, etc. it’s very versatile with these two at the helm.

DET - receives Brandon Ingram and Andre Drummond, 2 must needed vets for the Pistons, and giving Cade Cunningham a star player to play along side of him. Detroit desperately needs to make a move to put something around Cade. It makes sense to throw Ivey out the window because he still has some value in this league and could become something interesting. In my opinion after watching the Pistons lose 19 games in a row, I don’t think Cade and Ivey are the best fit (and I’m prepared for many to disagree with me on this). So shipping him out and getting someone who can take the pressure off of Cade would allow Cade to shine. Also Detroit does not have a backup center right now, (yeah yeah yeah, I know they have Bagley, wiseman, Stewart, blah blah blah, they suck as a backup bigs to Duren, and I’m starting to hate them all, and hate watching them every night)

Chicago - recieves Ivey, Wiseman and salary fillers. Chicago hits the reset button and who better to reset with them a former 5 overall pick, 1 year removed from the draft. Honestly truly believe this is one of the best pieces Chicago could receive for Zach Lavine. Ivey has sky high Potiential and as I said earlier, I don’t think Ivey and Cade are the right match, so seeing Ivey start over in a new position, could be similar to Haliburton in Indiana, where you just start over in a new environment, and the team can start building around Ivey. Chicago would have their first building block with Ivey. Then Wiseman, we saw him with the Pistons last year, and he looked decent at points, Chicago could unlock something with him, and give him lots of opportunities to shine.

I didn’t give Chicago a first in return for Zach, becuase there’s no a big market for Zach, who makes 40 million a year, and is questionable about leading a team into the playoffs. I think Ivey is the value of a first round pick
