Hawks save an abundance of space during this year's free agency, like $19 million. With them shopping John Collins (and Phoenix reportedly not being interested) they flip their most expendable rotational player for replacement 4 depth in Crowder and Saric and less expensive expirings. I know Hawks fans love Bogi, and I love his impact off the bench, so lmk if you would rather have Shamet thrown into this deal, or draft compensation.

Suns get about the best compensation they can get for Crowder. Bogdan Bogdanovic is literally perfect for them, a playmaking sixth man. Cam Johnson is ready to step into that starting 4 spot, so they don't need Collins to interfere with that and team chemistry. Bogi, on the other hand, allows Chris Paul to play fewer minutes and nets the suns another rotational player. His cntract isn't ideal, but Saric and Crowder both aren't giving the Suns high level contributions, so it's worth it. Maybe the Suns thrown it Shamet instead of Saric just because of 4 depth.
