PACERS: For the pacers, getting Ben Simmons to go there would be excellent for them. Simmons has a ton of potential and can be their franchise player, and an all NBA player. However, traded have had them part with Caris LeVert/ Brogdon, Turner AND more for Ben. They would understandably pass on that. However, this trade doesnt. Giving up Turner, Warren and a FRP for Simmons is totally fair. He is a great all around player who can do everything but shoot, and, if he can shoot, he can be a top 20 player. Parting with Turner and Warren sucks, however, Simmons can replace Turner's defense, + more. Duarte is a rising star with how hes been playing, so, a Brogdon, LeVert, Duarte, Sabonis, Simmons offense should be top 10 still. Thats like 95 points maybe combined with a deep bench. All in all, this gives the Pacers who they want in Simmons for a reasonable price.
KNICKS: The Knicks have wanted Myles Turner, and, this is a fair trade for him. They give up Mitchell Robinson, Obi Toppin and 2 FRPs for him. This is fair for him, he is clearly better then Robinson, and, Toppin hasn't shown anything much. Giving up 2 crappy first + a downgrade + a player who looks like a bust isnt much, and is very modest for them. It upgrades their defense In need as well, there offense is phenomenal, their defense isnt. this would help them.
76ers: One worry about a Ben Simmons trade is that they get too many role players, no star, not getting better, in fact, worse. This trade fixes that. They fix their starting lineup by getting a 1 and a 3 to replace him. Getting Tj Warren and Dejounte is huge. Dejounte is a big point guard that can do everything Simmons can do. He can score, defend, pass and rebound. Warren is a small forward who can score real well while not punishing them ion the defensive side. All in all, this is a great Simmons return that gives them the maximum value for him. They should take this if offered right away before they lose this level of value.
SAS: For the Spurs, givingup Dejounte is tough. However, they get a lot. Toppin, a former 8 pick. Mitchell Robinson, a good defective 5 who can rebound. He is young and earning under 2 million. AND, 3 UNPROTECTED FRps. This is fair value for Dejounte.
