Magic look like a team ready to break out and I’m not sure that adding 2x lottery picks are what they need right now. Using those picks to get a big guard/wing that can handle and shoot may be the move and LaMelo fits that kind of nicely. It’s an overpay in terms of picks with future cap implications as LaMelo is due an extension, but I think it’s worth the risk.

For Charlotte, they need a hard reset. Bridges comes with a lot of baggage if they re-sign him, but even if he came back and was good, so the Hornets have enough to make the playoffs anytime soon… I think not.

Use the 2nd, 6th & 11th picks to inject a whole lot of youth and potentially build a core group for the future.
