Currently the Grizzlies only center is Brandon Clarke, and is the main position they will look to feel this summer after trading Steven Adams. They could look at one of the rookies in this class, but I think having a proven starter capable center might be better. With John Collins you'll get a center who can roll to the rim with Ja or hit an open 3. He'll crash the board, and his biggest weekness in his rim protection would be helped by JJJ. To sweeten the deal, they'll get the later 2 Jazz picks in the OKC Pick (around 27-29) and the Wizards 2nd rounder. This will fill there bench with low cost draft picks you can look to have as role players, which they have hit on lately.
The Jazz will look to use this trade as a way to for sure make the lottery, as their pick is on the precipice of going to OKC if it falls to 11th or lower. This trade would also facilitate a permanent starting spot for Walker Kessler. Ziaire Williams still remains a project player, and can look to grow under a rebuilding Jazz instead of being clogged behind players in a competing grizzlies team. The atlanta pick is a future asset the Jazz can take on and almost evens the trade in a straight asset swap. Luke Kennard is salary filler.
