Kings do this to move Sabonis to power forward, a position he seems more comfortable with. Adding Poeltl could help Sacramento a lot defensively with his rebounding and shot blocking, and also since the team has an average defense (14th best). He can also be extremely efficient on offense, as shown in the last few games. He's been averaging 17 points and 12 rebounds so far the Raptors, along with a steal and a block per game, shooting 61% for the field. The Kings lack a true dominant big man, and Poeltl could very well be the solution.
