Trade Explanation

(Hornets)

  • Hornets Acquires 2 Quality Rotational Players And A Protected Frp In Return For Rozier. For Me Honestly, This Is A Fair Deal For The Hornets If They Decide To Move On From Rozier And Focus On Their Youth. The 2 Role Players That They Received On The Trade Is Graham & Boucher, As I Said, They Are Some Quality Rotational Pieces That Hornets Could Utilize. Hornets Has Reunited With Graham, He Is A 6'1 Point Guard, In The 26 Games He Played Last Season With The Spurs, He Averaged 14 PPG, 4 APG With 37% From Three In 7.4 Attempts Per Game. Honestly, A Quality Offensive Player. His Remarkable Outside Shooting, Shot Making & Passing Ability Needs Some Credit. I See Him Being A Good Offensive Player For The Hornets Off The Bench. About His Defense, He Is Pretty Decent At That End For A 6'1 Ish Player, A Plus Defender Based On Advance Metrics. Definitely Not A Liability But He Is Not That Strong Either, He Is Average In Short. He Would Be A Good Piece For This Team. About Boucher, He Is A Nice Versatile 6'9 Big. A Good Role Player To Have On Your Team, Can Play Positions 3-5. He Is Pretty Nice Defensively, Got A Great Interior Defense. Boucher Can Also Switch On The Perimeter With His Mobility + Length. He Can Be A Lockdown In Isolation, Can Denies Some Jump shots, Can Predict Passing Lane And Guard Pick & Rolls. He Is Too Versatile. Pretty Much Can Be Your Anchor Big & Mobile Big In The Defensive End. In The Offensive End, I Can Say He Is Pretty Fine On That End. He Is A Decent Shooter For A Big Man, Respectable 32% From Three. Boucher Can Be A Decent Stretch Big. He Is Also Pretty Nice With His Mid Range Jumpers. He Is An Awesome Offensive Rebounder With 2.1 ORPG, This Give His Team More Extra Scoring Opportunities. A Great Rim Attacker, His Athleticism & Finishing Touches Is The Main Reason Why. Basically A Glue Guy As His Offensive Role. Again, This Is A Nice Fair Return For Rozier If The Front-Office Decided To Move On From The Scarry Terry.

(Spurs)

  • In This Move, They Were Able To Get Rid Of Two Contracts That I Can Assure Will Barely Get Real Playing Time Or Be That Valuable For Them This Season (Doug, Graham). In Return, Front-Office Were Able To Get An Elite Starting Point Guard (Rozier) Who The Team Really Needs. Which For Me Is A Win Move. Rozier Is An Elite Combo Guard That Can Possibly Be A Great Fit With Wemby. Scarry Terry Is Too Underrated, He Is A Deadly Explosive Offensive Machine, His Scoring Arsenal Is Too Deep. A Threat In All 3 Levels(At The Rim, Midrange Or From Downtown) He Also Has Incredible Playmaking Abilities. Last Season, He Had Averages Of 21 Pts 4 Reb & 5 Ast. For Me, He Would Be A Great Pickup For The Spurs. I Really See Pops Liking Rozier On San Antonio.

(Raptors)

  • They Acquired Doug, He Is Another Deadly Player In The Offensive End That Can Definitely Fit With The Raptors. If Mcdermott Is Lock-In, He Would Be A Real Threat For Opposing Teams. He's A Pure Elite Shooter, 41% From Deep With Around 5 Attempts Per Game. He Has A Very Deep Scoring Game. I Am Telling You, He Is Very Deadly With The Correct Role and He Would Be An Amazing Addition. Especially When Raptors Is One Of The Worst 3pt Shooting Teams In The NBA. I Know, He Can Be A Defensive Liability, But It's Not Like He Will Play An Entire Game. The Coach Could Maybe Give Him A Some Solid 20 MPG, In Those Minutes I See Him Being Effective & Giving The Raptors More Firepower In The Offensive End With His Efficient Shooting. Also Speaking Of The Coach, With The New Assigning of Darko Rajakovic, Who Is An Offensive Minded One, He Probably Would Want To Have More Players Like Doug Mcdermott. So Again, I Can See Doug Thriving And Fitting Well For The Raptors.
