After trading away the Giddler for Caruso, it’s clear they want to contend while minting their big 3 core (JDub, Chet, SGA). Here, they move some of their abundance of picks in order to acquire a 4th star.

Why the Jazz do this:

Utah is in a terrific position right now, in regards to Lauri Markkanen. This man’s value is at an all time high, and it is essential they find a spot for him this offseason. If they can get a package back like this, they should be ecstatic.
