Is this the opportunity that meets preparation?

The Blazers seem committed to building something around Dame and have been tied to Jerami Grant as an addition that can bring versatile wing defense they lack to form a trio of Dame, Anf and Grant. The Blazers have very few assets after the previous Olshey trades and the Pels making the playoffs. It'll be hard for them to improve without giving something of value.

The Pistons have fallen out of the top 4 but could still end up with Sharpe, Ivey or Murray. The only angle for this is that Cade Cunningham is the #him that teams spend years tanking for and the Pistons drafted him. They had some surprising success after the All-Star Break and Cade put up All-Star stats in March. Could they end their rebuild and push to be competitive? GTJ is a 18ppg starting SG that is only 2 years older than Cade and a great longterm fit in the backcourt or at the SF if they start Hayes. Plus, they trade down 2 spots to grab another young piece here. How scary could a core of Cade, GTJ, Bey and Jalen Duren be?

The Raptors could do this because although GTJ had a great season, they face a salary crunch soon with having to repay their highest paid players in 2023 and 2024. Could they move GTJ for a high pick then use the newly created TPE to go trade for a more cost effective option at the SG? I believe the Raptors can still find a way to be competitive while keeping Masai's preferred core of FVV, OG, Scottie and Pascal together.

(Could also work with Pistons staying at 5 and Raps at 7)
