The Celtics had an underwhelming season last year, but in terms of talent, they're one of the best teams in the league. I think due to health and safety protocols and other troubles this season including injuries have derailed this Celtics team from becoming a true championship contender. Following the Kemba-Horford trade and changes in the front office and coaching staff, I doubt Brad Stevens will stop making moves. I think the Celtics are a really good destination for Bradley Beal, who may request a trade at some point and has been mum about his future with the Washington Wizards franchise.

Wizards

This is probably one of the best offers you can get from the market for Beal. The Celtics have historically been a great drafting franchise, and these players have tons of potential. If Washington decides to trade Russell Westbrook following this trade, you've got a potential future PG in Romeo Langford, a really good defensive PG who can continue to blossom with more playing time. Payton Pritchard is a shooting combo guard with deep range and a guy who has shown plenty of potential to score, and Aaron Nesmith was arguably the best shooter in this class and improved over the season. He can be a nice shooting alternative to Rui Machimura. Yes, they will have to take on an expensive salary from Fournier to get the salaries to mesh, but he can be a nice veteran to this Wizards squad and also a guy that can score 20 points a night and help the Wizards be at least a little competitive in the near future. Add in the four valuable picks to land new young talent, and the Wizards will be stocked to start their rebuild.

Celtics

The Celtics do it because it's Bradley Beal and it looks like Brad Stevens wants to win his 18th championship now. If made available, Beal is the top player on the market, and the Celtics can make a run at him. With some capital and intriguing young talent, the Celtics could be a landing spot for him. Also, Beal and Tatum are best friends, so Beal can demand a trade to Boston if he wants to leave Washington. He'd fit in nice with the Celtics because Marcus Smart can mask his defensive weaknesses and also Jaylen Brown, a nice two-way star. Now you have a starting lineup of former All-Stars and All-Defnesive teams, and hopefully if they can stay healthy, the Celtics can be a top team in the East.
