I put a 1st and a 2nd round pick from the Pelicans for now but I would try to get two 1st round picks from them. If the Heat decide to trade Jimmy than this makes a lot of sense. The Pelicans get out of CJ's contract while getting a Center. The tough part for the Heat is losing Ware but getting Hawkins in return would be a great future backcourt partner next to Herro. I also don't think the Pelicans do it without getting a Center in return. The Pelicans would have Ware & Missi as their future Centers. Duncan replaces Hawkins shooting for the Pelicans off the bench.
The Heat can then move the CJ contract along with Roziers contract to a team like the Nets for Ben Simmons and Dennis Schroder. Idk if picks/swaps would be included. I know getting Ben isn't ideal but both of these players are expiring contracts. Thats around 53 million in cap space for next year. That allows you to negotiate for Herro, Ingram, Jaime & Jovic extensions while having space to sign a rotation player. Ben would sign a bit above the minimum for next year which is a great contract. Schroder is a great backup PG.
A core of Herro 24, Bam 27, Ingram 27, Hawkins 22, Jovic 21, Jaime 23, Highsmith 27 and Ben 28 (low risk high reward minimum contract project) would be a great start. Biggest thing here is finding a capable defensive Center either through trade or the draft after losing Ware. This also leaves you open to a Giannis or any other superstar trade if they're made available.
