Why? The Kings need a Co-Star to go along with Fox and Haliburton in order to make noise in the Western Conference. John Collins will keep on developing into a star whilst in Sacramento. Also, Harrison Barnes' contract is going to eat at their salary while he is aging therefore the Kings need to get him off of their roster.

Why? The Hawks need a Three/D vet in order to make it out of the Eastern Conference. Also, John Collins is frustrated with the way the Hawks are going as a franchise. Trading John Collins not only gives the Hawks a vet in Harrison Barnes and a young guard in Jahmi'us Ramsay, but also gives them two picks to play with. They can either package them to get a star, or even keep them to draft players while Trae progesses.
