Why for Utah? If they want to make Donovan Mitchell happy they're gonna need to get Rudy Gobert out of the locker room. This not only does that but brings back a fan favorite, promising big and Noel who can attempt to duplicate what Rudy did for at least 15 minutes a game. Oh, and they get 3 picks.

Why for the Hornets? They go all in and instantly become contenders. This shouldn't be difficult to figure out, they want to win and aren't a free agent destination so a trade is the only way they'd get a player like Gobert outside of getting lucky with one of those picks they included in the deal.

Why for the Knicks? They pay a bit more this season to get Noel's contract off the books after the season and collect a second to do so. Also opens up room for Obi to play some 5... kidding.
