I feel like the title speaks for itself which is why I won't do my usual team by team breakdown. Especially after seeing Bridges' postgame interview tonight and Josh Hart's tweet, it's hard to not want Bridges on this team. He's an incredible player on offense and even better on defense. A starting lineup with Bridges and Anunoby could shut down a lot and that starting 5 is all hard nosed players. It may not have the All-Star types that the Knicks are looking for but he's another member of the Nova title team and is the exact type of player that Thibs wants. Plus, every member of the starting 5 would play crazy hard and then you also have players like DDV, Hart and Deuce on the bench. I'd also be good with a player like Dennis Smith Jr. coming to the Knicks but it's more likely the Knicks would have to look at the buyout market (Lowry, Wenyen Gabriel?) for more help on the bench. They might not need it though if Mitch comes back and if DDV is moving to the bench as he can help with the lack of creation there. Even with the crazy amount of picks (4 unprotected FRPs from the Knicks, 3 protected ones including the FRP from Dallas that will convey this year) the Nets still probably wouldn't trade with the Knicks because Bridges is their foundational piece and well, its the Nets and the Knicks.
