Do the Lakers also move on from LeBron now that they’ve brought in Luka? Now you may say, “no, they brought him in to help LeBron win a chip with the Laker”, and that is a possible answer. But… imo if you do this sort of trade, you are changing the entire direction of your franchise. I think this is a direction change for the lakers who now have a young coach and now have paired that young coach with a young superstar. I see them trading majority of their older players and following their new direction.
