Agbaji could fit in the 3 and D role as a starter over max, or coming off the bench. He's having a career year, but it remains to be seen if this is for real. He's still young, and I think he has the framework for a player who could pair perfectly next to Reaves. He's a guy who can hit open threes, runs a ton in transition, and holds his own defensively. Not very flashy, but could fill a ton of holes on this roster.

Sexton fills the need for another primary ball handler and scorer. While he doesn't shoot as many threes as Dlo, he is way more consistent, and competes on defense. I still wouldn't prefer pairing him next to Reaves a ton since I think their skillsets would somewhat overlap and neither player is a particularly strong defender. He's always been a very high level scorer and I could see him being the most efficient pair next to a strong defender like Agbaji or Christie.

Poeltl gives us our much needed big man. I have concerns pairing him next to AD or Vando because of his inability to stretch the floor, but he's an incredibly reliable big who's a great rebounder with incredible touch. Holds his own on both ends of the floor and is a very underrated passer.

For the regular season, I think this would be the rotation to go with, but going into the playoffs JJ would have to determine who the best 5 are:

Starters: Reaves, Agbaji, DFS, Lebron, AD Bench: Sexton, Christie, Knecht, Vando, Poeltl

I could see Christie keeping his starting job since he has more experience playing with Lebron AD and Reaves, but I think Agbaji might be the better overall player. Poeltl and Sexton are starting caliber players, but I don't see them being the most natural fit next to AD Lebron and Reaves. Over the course of the season, I could see a bench duo of Sexton and Poeltl become absolutely lethal, and with guys like Max, Knecht and Vando paired next to them, I could see the 2nd string unit being something we could rely on heavily.
