The kings get off buddy's contract which give them the ability to resign Richuan Holmes and Marvin Bagley if they want to and they get that lakers pick in 2026 which could be valuable becasue lebron will probably be retired and they also have the 2028 pick which could be decent

The Mavericks get Schroder who can take pressure off of Luka on the offensive end and gives them more cap flexibility by getting of the Josh Richardson contract
