This isn't terribly complicated but
Detroit
Swaps Killian Hayes for TJ McConnell. If Cade Cunningham goes down McConnell is a better vet to handle the team offense he's also capable of being a mentor.
Suns
So Ayton & McConnell is wildly rumored, I'm not sure it makes perfect sense to play a 6'1" PG next to Bradley Beal ; Killian "brick shot" Hayes is a plus defender and a vile shooter, for the Suns that's a, so what? He's a defensive stopper and secondary ball handler for the Suns. This , very importantly, also moves the Suns down below the 2nd tax apron when combined with the Payne trade announced earlier.
Magic
This is really simple trade. The Magic have better matching salaries to make this trade work. They get Buddy Hield who is an upgrade from Gary Harris; the get Jalen Smith who sees himself as a 4/5 option but struggled some at 4 early in the year last year and was working on his skill set. Sort of an ideal backup for Banchero if he's worked it out. They give up Cole Anthony , the afore mentioned Gary Harris and a 2025 2nd rounder.
Raptors
3 1sts from Indiana a 2nd from the Magic Cole Anthony (pass first PG) and promising young PG Andrew Nembhard. Could they get more , perhaps, but without Siakam signing an extension that's going to be a hard one to top. The Hawks lack the draft pick ammo to do this and Orlando simply isn't ready to move 3 1s for a second star yet especially without an extension in place the risk isn't worth the reward to them. The Pacers would likely be a good Siakam fit and as long as they are willing to pay next year an extension likely gets done.
Pacers
Gotta admit I love the starting lineup here.
PG: Halliburton SG: Bruce Brown Jr. SF: Benedict Mauthrin PF: Pascal Siakam C: Deandre Ayton
Bench: The bench would still very much be a work in progress Nwora, Nesmith, Sheppherd on the wings, Walker/Toppin/Jackson as the bigs, Flynn inheriting the back up point. There are a few backup PG options left, but the starting lineup is certainly "deadly' and they'd have 3 more signings to go for the off-season in order to complete their roster.
I might also add Siakam is the "old man" on that lineup at 29 currently. Brown Jr. is 27 , Halliburton 23 Ayton 24, and Mauthrin just old enough to buy a beer at 21.
