how do we feel about the 3&D term in nba draft scouting?


the 3&D term is labeled on a ton of prospects that fit into the role player category, however i think this is flawed. some prospects have skills that stretch beyond the 3&D, like connective passing, closeout creation, etc. this is why i think the D/P/S term (dribble/pass/shoot) may be a better term for describing certain prospects. what do you think about this?
